Description
The CZ Bren 2 Ms is the newest iteration of the Bren pistol, now available in the US. This isn’t a re-hash of the original 805 Bren – it’s a completely new design focused on weight reduction and usability. You’ll notice a difference in handling thanks to the aluminum receiver and carbon fiber-reinforced polymer lower.
Key Features
- Chambering: Available in 5.56×45 NATO and 7.62×39.
- Receiver: Lightweight aluminum alloy.
- Lower: Carbon fiber-reinforced polymer.
- Charging Handle: Non-reciprocating, forward-positioned, and ambidextrous. It also functions as a forward assist.
- Bolt Catch/Release: AR-15 style, mirrored on both sides, with a front-of-trigger-guard release.
- Ambidextrous Controls: Magazine release and safety are mirrored for left and right-handed shooters.
- Magazine Compatibility: 5.56 models take standard AR-15/M16 magazines. 7.62×39 models utilize CZ’s proprietary magazines for reliable last-round bolt hold-open.
- Modular Design: Swappable barrel lengths and forends allow you to customize the platform.
- Pistol Configuration: Comes with a flush rear plate to accept an AR-style buffer tube for brace attachment.
