New for 2017, the Ed Brown Compact is based on an Ed Brown compact (Officer’s) size frame, with a Commander length (4.25″ slide) for maximum reliability and concealability with a shorter frame. While smaller on the outside, it’s still a workhorse on the inside, using 100% Ed Brown fully-machined premium components, and hand-fitted to the Ed Brown forged frame and slide. The front strap and mainspring housing are tastefully checkered at 25 LPI to give a secure grip. Checkered laminate wood grips complete the model for a classy, traditional look that will hold up over years of use. For those who prefer the shorter Officer’s size frame, the Ed Brown Compact is the perfect choice for a compact carry pistol.
